i am having a fantastic day - woken up by my gorgeous boy to the sounds of happy birthday, three amazing presents - gorgeous new coloured pencils, a big canvas to inspire my painting and the new sarah blasko album - then driven to work and breakfast in smith street! what a great birthday!

Hey Kara!
I can't remember what the name of the shop i got the typecase from, but it's basically the only really big antiques store on Mailing Road (canterbury), and it's on the side that backs onto the railway line, about half way along. Apparently it's built into an old theatre so the building might look something like that - I didn't pay attention at the time :)
What happened to your bloggin'? No updates in aaages! ;)

Got your comment on my blog the other day :) That's great that you're doing a textile design course at RMIT (that's more than I ever did!). Is it taught by a woman called Lisa by any chance? She's actually one of the women who screenprint my fabric, and she told me the other day that she teaches at RMIT.
